ABOUT ABOUT

This class will be a historical journey through the development of the spirit we’ve come to most closely relate to American identity--Whiskey. Starting with an overview of the development of whiskey at its earliest, through a discussion of changing drinking habits in North America in the 18th and 19th centuries, up to the current day, we’ll taste a variety of styles of Whiskey, discussing their production styles, and why they're all so damn delicious. Join Head Bartender, Mike "Juice" Treffehn, and raise your glasses, several times.  Cheers!

If you have not taken one of the The Franklin's classes in the past, the classes are meant to be regarded as a "night out" with lots of education.  Translation:  our drinks are strong and delicious.  The setting is intimate as it is just you, the bar, and your bartender. Any questions regarding the classes, please feel free to reach out to our General Manager, Aaron Siak, at [email protected].
